The Splashes From The River studio is located on the Discovery Passage side of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, in a town called Campbell River.

Campbell River is known as the salmon fishing capital of the world and the gateway to outdoor adventures of all kinds. Thrice blessed with the nature lovers scenic trinity of ocean, mountains, and trees, it's a beautifully inspiring and empowering place to live and create.

Splashes From The River is the heart-child of David Mielke and Marie Rackham. It was incorporated on May 3, 1999, with the vision of intuiting original, quirky, thirst-quenching material and digitally producing it for the home screen.
