The works are judged solely on their own quality, creativity and resourcefulness. Each entry is carefully scrutinized and evaluated by award-winning professionals, and judged against a high standard of excellence.

From the Videographer Awards letter of notification:Congratulations on your work being chosen as a winner in the 2001 competition. There were 2,413 entries from throughout the United States and several foreign countries. Your work was judged to be among the best that was submitted. The Award of Distinction is awarded for projects that clearly exceed industry standards.
