Lesson 11: Nouns

"Nouns are naming words.  There are two main classifications of nouns: Abstract and Concrete."  While Marie takes a break from her work to sit and enjoy a toffee and the warmth of the bonfire, she provides definitions and examples of abstract and concrete nouns.  She goes on to explain that concrete nouns are classified in two ways: common and proper.  After providing examples she then shows how common nouns are also classified in two ways - collective and compound - and provides examples.
