Lesson 7: Verbs

"The beach is a great place to talk about verbs. There's so much to do on the beach. And that's what verbs are, they're doing words." A heavy fog doesn't stop Marie from leading us down onto the beach to learn about verbs. While the disembodied moan of the foghorn periodically finds its way through the ghostly coastal mist, Marie provides us with a simple way of recognizing a verb, and uses sample sentences and demonstrations to demystify us about the three qualities that a verb may express: action, possession, or existence.
